What we do, what we don't, and why we exist.
The problem we're trying to solve
Iranian lawyers are scattered across dozens of jurisdictions. A family in Toronto needs help with an inheritance matter in Tehran. A startup in Berlin wants advice on contracts with an Iranian supplier. A new arrival in Sydney is looking for an immigration lawyer who speaks Farsi. None of this is easy to find through Google.
Practitioners face the same gap from the other side. A lawyer in Frankfurt with an Iranian client whose ex-spouse is hiding assets in Dubai has no straightforward way to find a trusted counterpart in the UAE.
Other directories exist. Most of them are commercial products run by marketing agencies, where listings are paid placements sorted by who's bought the most visibility. That's a different thing. This is the non-commercial alternative.
What this directory is
A free, community-run list of Iranian lawyers worldwide. Each listing is verified against the practitioner's regulator before being published. There are no paid placements. There are no reviews. There is no advertising. The full set of principles is on the Our Promise page.
What it isn't
Not a lawyer-referral service. Not a legal advice service. Not a recommendation of any individual practitioner. Choosing a lawyer is your own decision — the directory is a starting point, not a substitute for your own due diligence.
Who runs it
A small group of volunteers across several countries. We're not a company. We're not a marketing agency. We don't sell anything. The site costs almost nothing to run — it sits on Cloudflare's free tier and the only annual cost is the domain name.
