What we collect

From lawyers submitting listings: the information on the submission form (name, firm, country, city, regulator and registration number, practice areas, languages, contact details, optional bio). Listings are public once verified and published. The practising certificate you provide for verification is not published — it is reviewed and then deleted.

From visitors: standard web server logs (IP address, browser, page visited, referrer) for a maximum of 30 days. We use Cloudflare analytics, which is privacy-preserving and does not use cookies to track individuals.

From people who contact us or submit reports: the contents of their message and any contact details they provide.

What we don't collect

No cookies for advertising. No third-party trackers. No social-media pixels. No analytics that identify individuals.

Why we collect it

To run the directory. Listings are publicly searchable so people can find lawyers. Server logs help us keep the site working and detect abuse. Reports help us correct inaccurate listings.

Who we share it with

Nobody. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data. We may be required to disclose information in response to a valid legal request from a regulator or court.

Your rights

If you have a listing on the directory you can ask us to update or remove it at any time by emailing contact@iranlawyers.org or via the report form. We will act on removal requests within seven days.

If you are an EU or UK resident, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us.

Where the data sits

The site and database are hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence.
